David Wells

David Wells, C-IAYT, E-RYT500, YACEP, works as a Yoga Therapist in an Integrated Pain Management Clinic helping people to manage and reduce their chronic pain naturally. He teaches Traditional Thai Yoga, “Reusi Dat Ton,” and Indian Hatha Yoga and offers Multimedia Workshops, Group Classes and Continuing Education Workshops for Registered Yoga Alliance Teachers, IAYT Yoga Therapists and NCBTMB Massage Therapists. He served three years in Peace Corps Thailand and received Thai Massage and Thai Yoga, “Reusi Dat Ton,” certifications from The Wat Po School of Thai Traditional Massage in Bangkok and The Thai Massage School of Chiang Mai under the authorization of The Thai Ministry of Education. He also studied with the Reusi Tevijjo and the late Ajan Pisit Benjamongkonware in Thailand. www.wellsyoga.com

Pierce Salguero

Pierce Salguero is a transdisciplinary scholar of health humanities fascinated by historical and contemporary intersections between Buddhism, medicine, and crosscultural exchange. Pierce holds a Ph.D. in History of Medicine from the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine (2010), and teaches Asian history, medicine, and religion at Penn State University’s Abington College. He has been the editor in chief of the journal Asian Medicine: Journal of the International Association for the Study of Traditional Asian Medicine since 2016. The major theme in his scholarship is discovering the role of Buddhism in the global transmission and local reception of knowledge about health, disease, and the body. He regularly publishes writing for non-scholarly audiences, and is passionate about connecting scholarship and teaching with contemporary issues and events, Pierce has recently begun working in the fields of documentary filmmaking and podcasting.

Sebastian Bruno

Sebastian is a devoted student of the body, breath, and movement. His path has unfolded through martial arts, dance, bodywork, and traditional healing arts, shaping an embodied and integrative approach to practice.

For over two decades, he has been immersed in the study and practice of Traditional Thai Massage/Traditional Thai Medicine, rooted in Thai Element Theory and BuddhaDhamma. His training has taken place under the guidance of genuine masters and lineage holders, with an emphasis on direct transmission and lived practice.

Sebastian is the co-founder of ThaiVedic, an international school of holistic healing that shares wisdom from the traditions of Ayurveda, Traditional Thai Medicine, and Yoga Therapy. Based in Asia for the past 18 years, he travels internationally, offering sessions, trainings, and workshops that honor tradition while meeting the needs of modern life.

David Roma

David Roma is a Thai massage practitioner and teacher with over 30 years of experience, known for his signature approach, “Flowing Meditation,” which weaves together breath, movement, and mindful presence. Rooted in Zen philosophy and compassion, his work goes beyond technique, guiding practitioners into deeper awareness and connection.

David discovered Thai massage in the 1990s while studying at Wat Pho in Bangkok and has since trained extensively throughout Thailand and internationally. He is the founder of Roma Thai Yoga Massage and an instructor at Sunshine School of Massage in Chiang Mai, where he teaches courses ranging from foundational to advanced, with a focus on efficiency, intuitive touch, and flowing transitions.

A Nationally Board Certified Massage Therapist (NCBTMB), Florida LMT, and Certified Yoga Teacher, David is also a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and the Thai Healing Alliance International. He has taught internationally and is widely respected for his compassionate presence and refined, effective teaching style.

Pinyapatch (Grace) Chanyathunyaroj

Pinyapatch “Grace” Chanyathunyaroj is a highly respected and influential figure in the global massage therapy community, having practiced traditional Thai massage for over 16 years. Based in Massachusetts, she is celebrated for her unique therapeutic style, which includes her signature modality, Healer Hoop Massage, and a seamless blend of Eastern techniques with Western modalities such as Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, and Orthopedic Massage. Grace has achieved worldwide recognition, holding the prestigious titles of World Massage Champion and American Massage Champion, and is a 2025 Massage Hall of Fame inductee. She is also a successful entrepreneur, co-founding La Moon Thai Spa, Praan Thai Massage, and BAMBAT Advanced Thai Massage, and serves as the New York Regional Director of the Nuad Thai and Spa Association of America.
